We are RAO, a band based in Queens. We play psychedelic, jazz, and math rock. But really it's just ocean music. It's spiritual, it's cosmic, and we want to take you on a journey.

About This Project
RAO formed in 2023. Original lineup with Zarif, Krit, and Kshitiz. They've developed psychedelic and funky grooves playing all around the city, namely Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. The style in which the music is written is a cross collaboration, where each member brings in their own unique styles to create a diverse fusion of musical genres. You'll hear elements of music from all around the world focused into a an oceanic, and psychedelic field.
